The Foodstate Company is the new name for Jersey Food State, a local company run by Andy Barnes. Andy has rebranded the business to give it a fresh new image, with the same natural food state vitamins and supplements. Barannes are still proud to be the only local retail outlet that sells The Foodstate Company products.
Next time you come into our Colomberie store look out for the new designed bottles that will be appearing on our shelves very soon.
Foodstate is all about producing supplements from their natural state as found in our foods, rather than from synthetic processes. In his latest blog Andy asks the question "would you consume petroleum extracts, coal tar derivatives, and chemically processed sugars?"
If you take Vitamin Supplements other than foodstate then you do!
Most vitamins in supplements are petroleum extracts, coal tar derivatives and chemically processed sugar with other acids and industrial chemicals (such as formaldehyde) used to process them
These synthetic vitamins were originally developed because they are cheap. Although most synthetic supplements are called “vegetarian”, this is not because they are from plants, but because they are not from animals.
Despite a huge variation in cost, all synthetic supplements are made by a handful of pharmaceutical companies then sold as identical products under thousands of brand names
Here are a few examples:
· Vitamin B12: Cobalamins reacted with cyanide
· Vitamin C: Hydrogenated sugar processed with acetone
· Vitamin D: Irradiated animal fat/cattle brains
Remember: These synthetic vitamins don’t exist anywhere on this planet in live food
Foodstate Vitamins are created in healthy, nutritious food mediums including acerola cherries, alfalfa sprouts, carrots, corn, grapefruit, lemons, limes, nutritional yeast (no trace of yeast in finished product), oranges, rice bran, soy beans, and tangerines, to create nutrients in the same form as those created by plants.
If you'd prefer to consume these natural foodstate vitamins then come into see our range from The Foodstate Company.
As Andy says: "Go Natural – Go Foodstate!"
